Sage Moon is the face behind The Horror Maven. He is the author of three novels, and their horror poems and short stories have been published in various anthologies. He is an experienced reviewer, editor, book interior designer, typesetter, and critic. They have been involved in the indie book space since 2013. He serves as Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief of the queer horror publishing house, “Pride with a Bite.”

Sage is also a mental health specialist and owns a mental health organization for the queer community. They incorporate horror into their work as a bibliotherapist with clients and have found it effective for their experiences with mental illness. While he has loved horror for as long as he can remember, it is largely because of the healing aspects of the genre that make it especially important to him.

They adore reading, watching, and listening to horror of all kinds – but are especially fond of folk-horror, found footage, cannibalism, vampires, and paranormal horror.
